Penny McNamee

Multifaceted Penny has starred in leading roles across film, television and theatre, most notably winning a Green Room Award for her performance in the Australian premier of Wicked and gaining a Logie Nomination for her role as Tori in Home and Away.

Most recently, Penny starred in Neil Simon’s hit play THE ODD COUPLE alongside Shane Jacobson, Todd McKenney and Lucy Durack, to rave reviews.

An accomplished writer, Penny’s debut novel Stage Stars: Musical Theatre Club, which is published by Scholastic, has garnered stellar reviews since it’s release in September 2024. Her second book in the Stage Stars series is due for release in early 2025.

Penny is also a screenwriter and writes episodes for Channel 7’s Home and Away.
